Well heated and reasonably large hotel unit with view on a wonderful japanese garden. Patient personnel and particularly good and fantastic location even in the rural villages. Based near to main attractions, historical district of Kyoto, and the garden. Honestly no reason to complain.

Great choice for trip. Little, traditional property. Favourable, incredible location just next door to the eastern hillside and several main attractions. The super-friendly and fabulously friendly staff working throughout the hotel.

All the rooms are quiet and impressive with common bathroom and the staff is superfriendly. The venue has marvellous location on the outskirts of Gion.

Overall it was well-maintained with mattresses...

Make sure you stay in the japanese-style double room with view on the garden. Fantastic location adjacent to convenient stores and restaurants, and a wonderful japanese garden, it's central.

Beautifully maintained units with private bathroom, the basics, as for instance, and the staff were very very helpful. The hotel had a magnificent and stunning location in an amazing area.

The room was unique, well heated with down pillows. Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows, there were central heating, a seating area, and a writing desk available.

Really enjoyed my fantastic stay for more experienced travellers. The staff was wonderful, I will never forget them. The room was cool and included a nice bathroom. The bed was cozy and pillows too. The location was unbeatable and super for walking around a Maruyama park. It also was to all the interesting tourist spots in Kyoto.

Both rooms we booked were comfy and fantastic with a book, great view, comfortable futon. Had good amenities;)))

I booked this modern hotel for trip, had a nice stay, its location was favourable near kiyomizu-dera temple. My room was fairly quiet and unique with great view, had smoke detectors for safety measures. The people working in the venue were super-friendly and affable.

Units with great view. The location was unbeatable and magnificent - 800 feet away from Yasaka Shrine.

Totally amazing stay in the winter time. Clean, traditional hotel with exceptionally nice and amicable staff. Great location in a really quiet area, close to kiyomizu-dera temple. A wide range of goodies for breakfast.

The location of the hotel was excellent, situated in a quiet and nice street. It was very close to the main attractions, which made it easy to explore them on foot. Additionally, the accommodation was clean and well-maintained. Each dorm bed had its own towels, little shelf, hanger, and mirror, which was convenient.

One negative aspect was the inconvenience of the water-saving shower system. It required pushing a button every few seconds to keep the hot water flowing.

Possibly the best and fantastic stay in the winter time. Fantastic & cosy unit with great view. Wonderful staff all over the place. Unbeatable and super setting, near to subway and bus, the Kodaiji temple and all the historic areas of Higashiyama and a famous tourist destination.
